2007 ProFantasy Rodeo Promotional Partner Grand Prize Winner

For Mark McCloy, Jal, New Mexico, winning the Grand Prize as the ProFantasy Rodeo Promotional Partner, wasn’t as difficult as he had anticipated.  Mark, a former stock contractor and bareback rider in his youth, currently resides on a ranch in New Mexico that runs around 700 cattle.  But his contacts with rodeo fans and contestants throughout the years during his stock contractor tenure was what prompted him to accept the challenge of winning the Promotional Partner contest sponsored by ProFantasy Rodeo.

Said Mark, “I’ve been excited about ProFantasy Rodeo.  Last year I won third in one round that earned me a check for $1,500, so this year I noticed that you could win the Grand Prize (an all expense-paid trip to the National Finals) if you recruited the most teams in their Promotional Partner Contest.  I just got busy and told everyone I saw about it and asked them to use my Promo Code if they entered a team so I could possibly win.  I didn’t expect to win with only 32 teams recruited, 10 of which were teams that I partnered with someone on, but was sure surprised when they called to say I’d won.”

Mark’s grand prize included an opportunity for him as the winner and his wife to attend the 2007 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo in Las Vegas, NV, for the performance on Saturday night, December 15, 2007.  It also included round-trip coach air transportation for two between the major commercial airport closest to his residence and Las Vegas, standard hotel accommodations at The Mirage which is the host of Rodeo Vegas parties each night, plus two tickets to the WNFR for Saturday, December 15.  At the Rodeo Vegas parties, Mark and his wife had a chance to "meet and greet" WNFR qualifiers, and Mark was given prizes like a Rodeo Vegas leather jacket, ProFantasy Rodeo caps, etc.

Mark, a member of the Lovington, New Mexico, rodeo committee, had been to the National Finals for the past several years, but certainly recommends that others try for the free trip to Las Vegas by winning the Grand Prize as the Promotional Partner for ProFantasy Rodeo who recruits the most teams.  “It’s not that difficult.  I figured it would take more like 50 teams to win, so I didn’t think it was that hard to do,” stated Mark.

Entries open for the 2008 ProFantasy Rodeo game on November 11 and will close on December 4, 2008.  Rodeo fans and contestants can recruit teams and become a promotional partner to win a trip to the 2008 Wrangler National Finals Rodeo.<<< Back
